Best Website Visitor Identification Software (2026)

Julley Thai6 min read

Around 97 percent of your website visitors never fill out a form. Visitor identification software tells you who they were, and in 2026 the category splits into two very different products wearing the same label: company-level tools that name the visiting organization, and person-level tools that name the actual human. Picking the best website visitor identification software starts with knowing which of those two you need.

Disclosure up front: we make Beam, one of the tools below. We've put it first because this is our blog and we believe in it, but every competitor entry is factual, priced from July 2026 research, and includes who it genuinely suits. There's also a section on when NOT to pick Beam, because a roundup without one is an ad.

1. Beam: person-level identification plus the outreach

Beam identifies the individual people on your site, with a published average of 60 to 80 percent of visitors identified, then closes the loop no one else closes: it auto-matches each person's social profiles across LinkedIn, X, and 10+ platforms and drafts a reply in your voice for you to send from your own account. Setup is one line of HTML, first identified visitor in about 30 minutes, and pricing is flat: free for 10 identified visitors a month, $19 for 50, $49 for unlimited with team seats and API. GDPR and CCPA compliant, data never resold, no automation touching your accounts.

Skip Beam if: you run a multi-rep account-based sales machine that needs routing, territories, and orchestration. That's platform territory, and the honest picks there are below.

2. RB2B: person-level for US-heavy traffic

RB2B made person-level identification famous and pipes identified visitors into Slack in real time. Its documented limits: person-level resolution works only on US traffic, standard plans identify roughly 5 to 20 percent of it (35 to 45 percent on Pro+), and credit pricing runs $79 to $399+ a month with 25 to 45 cent overages. Strong pick for US SaaS with SDRs; the full breakdown is in our RB2B alternative guide.

3. Leadfeeder: the company-level veteran

Part of Dealfront, Leadfeeder matches IPs to organizations, scores accounts, and syncs two-way with CRMs, with strong European coverage and GDPR posture. From €99 a month billed annually (about 40 percent more monthly); the free plan holds 100 companies with 7-day retention. Best for account-based teams; see it head-to-head in RB2B vs Leadfeeder.

4. Warmly: identification inside a GTM platform

Warmly wraps company and contact identification in orchestration: automated sequences, AI chat, meeting booking, retargeting. Paid plans start around $15,000 a year, with person-level on-site ID around $30,000. The free tier reveals up to 500 visitors monthly. Right for sales orgs with a RevOps owner; the founder-sized case is in our Warmly alternative guide.

5. Snitcher: simple company-level, honest pricing

Snitcher does clean company-level identification with transparent tiers from €49 a month for 50 identifications. No enterprise bloat, good for lean teams that just want to see which companies visit. Company-level only, so the "who do I actually contact" work remains yours.

6. Leadinfo: the European SMB pick

Leadinfo starts around €39 to €69 a month, with a strong identification rate on European traffic and ISO compliance. A sensible default for EU SMBs that want company names in their CRM without a big contract.

7. Albacross: EU ABM with intent data

Albacross layers buying-intent signals on company identification, aimed at European ABM teams. Pricing is custom-quoted, typically starting around $125 a month and rising steeply with contracts. If you need intent scoring across target accounts and have budget to negotiate, it's a real option; if you want published pricing, look elsewhere.

8. HubSpot Breeze Intelligence: for HubSpot lifers

The former Clearbit Reveal now lives inside HubSpot: company-level identification on credits from about $45 a month per 100, requiring a paid HubSpot subscription (Sales Hub Pro+ for the visitor features). Fine consolidation if you're all-in on HubSpot; a lock-in problem if you're not. The full story is in our Clearbit Reveal alternative guide.

How to Actually Choose

Four questions settle it. Person or company level: direct outreach needs a person; account-based motions can run on companies (the difference is unpacked in our person-level guide). Where's your traffic: US-only person-level tools quietly fail international sites, and EU traffic raises consent requirements. What's your price shape: credits punish growth, flat plans don't, platforms need staffing. And the loop question: a name in a dashboard isn't pipeline until someone writes the message, so check who's doing that work, you or the tool.

Most tools here have free tiers. The best evaluation is boring: install two or three, wait two weeks, count what each identified on your real traffic, and spot-check quality. Vendor benchmarks, including ours, are marketing until your own site confirms them.

FAQ

What is the best website visitor identification software? There's no universal best. Beam leads for founders wanting person-level ID plus drafted outreach from $0. Leadfeeder leads for account-based EU teams. RB2B leads for US SaaS with SDR teams. Match the tool to your traffic and your sales motion.

What's the difference between person-level and company-level identification? Company-level tools use reverse IP lookup to name the visiting organization. Person-level tools resolve the actual individual via identity graphs. Person-level removes the "who do I contact" step but coverage varies more between vendors.

Is there free visitor identification software? Yes. Beam (10 identified visitors a month, person-level, outreach included), RB2B (150 resolutions, company-level), Leadfeeder (100 companies, 7-day retention), and Warmly (500 revealed visitors) all have free tiers as of July 2026.

How accurate are these tools? Published claims range from 5 to 20 percent (RB2B standard, US person-level) to 60 to 80 percent (Beam's reported average), with company-level tools measuring differently again. Methodology and traffic mix drive the variance, so test on your own site.
